1. Who we are

Ruan Roo Books is an independent publisher of word search books, coloring books and activity books, sold through Amazon. You can contact us at rooruan00@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

This is a static website with no accounts and no database. We do not collect, store or process personal data on our servers.

• Contact form: when you send a message through our contact form, your browser opens your own email app with the message filled in. Nothing is sent to or stored on this website. If your email app does not open, you can copy the message instead, or choose “Open in Gmail”, which opens a draft in your own Gmail account under Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). We only receive your details if you choose to send that email.
• Server logs: our hosting provider, Vercel, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. We do not use these logs to identify you.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics, and the website does not store anything in your browser’s local storage.

4. Third-party services

The website uses or links to these services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Amazon: all books are bought on Amazon. When you follow a link to buy a book you leave this site, and Amazon’s Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab) applies.
• Fonts: the Newsreader and Source Sans 3 typefaces are served from this website itself, so loading a page makes no request to a font service.
• Pinterest: we link to our Pinterest page. See Pinterest’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

We do not receive personal data from these services as a result of your visit.

5. Email communications

If you email us, we use what you send only to reply to you. We will not share your email address or add you to a mailing list without your clear consent.

6. Children’s privacy

Some of our books are made for young children, but this website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at rooruan00@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Links to other websites

Once you leave this site through a link to Amazon, Pinterest or elsewhere, we have no control over that website’s content or privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

8. Your rights

Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is nothing held on this website to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will act on your request promptly.
